City operates as a full 9-12 secondary alternative school.
2015-16 - Grade 9 cohort of 24 students; 40 students in Grade 10.
Our overall population is about 130.
Grade 9 courses center on inquiry and cross-curricular collaborations, allowing students to apply what they learn in school to real-world scenarios. The program emphasizes environmental awareness and community advocacy, with a special focus on leadership.
Students in the Grade 9 program take part in clubs, workshops, seminars, fieldtrips, and special events that help them to further develop their leadership skills.
The following academic courses are offered: English, Science, Canadian Geography, Math, Expressions of Aboriginal Culture, Integrated Arts, Music, Drama, Healthy & Active Living Education, and Learning Strategies.
